How To Let Go Of Someone You Love

There are times in our life when we may be forced to let go of someone we are in love with. Such as a significant other in your life. These are 3 Simple Truths you can consider and contemplate in your situation. Not everyone is meant to be in our lives, and sometimes you need to let go and move forward for the betterment of both parties involoved.

1) Accept that everyone you love may not love you back

Just because you love someone does not mean that they feel the same way about you. It is hard to accept but your feelings may look silly and inappropriate to the receiver. For example if you confess your love to someone who does not feel the same way they may tell you over and over again that they do not feel the same way, and you may not even hear or register what they are saying. Your love can blind you.

2) Remodel your thinking

When you find yourself thinking of the person you love but are trying to let go, take a step back and reframe your thinking. Instead of saying “I Miss So And So” to yourself, think “I will find my perfect match”. This has several benefits such as helping you expand your thinking from one person to an open ended perspective of finding the correct match for yourself.
